The ECAP mission is to provide trainees with knowledge that will enable them to prosper in the profession, improve existing ones or introduce new services, and be prepared for new challenges and constant changes in the automotive industry.
For this reason, our Technical Trainers go to professional training at the Dortmund Craft Chamber annually, in order to improve their knowledge, expand existing and introduce new trainings and enrich the ECAP school center offer.
Last year, the main topics were new CAN network architectures, new comfort systems, injection systems on TSI engines and Flex Ray communication.
This year, emphasis is placed on hybrid and electric vehicles. The training consisted of a theoretical and practical part. Within the practical part of the training for electric cars, the main subject was diagnostics with a special focus on checking and replacing high-voltage batteries, for which they used the VW e-up as a model. New skills and knowledge of hybrid vehicles our technical trainers have acquired on the Audi Q5 HYBRID.
